Pam Johnson's trip down the yogic rabbit hole began about 12 years ago. Her main influences for teaching are from the 10 years she has spent studying vinyasakrama classical yoga with Srivatsa Ramaswami (www.vinyasakramayoga.org) and 6 years of study with Tias Little. (www.prajnayoga.net)
Pam teaches specificly sequenced vinyasa flow re enforcing proper alignment that will facilitate the breath, strength, balance and relaxation of a pose.
She also likes to incorporate yogic thought on body mechanics, movement of prana,"life force"
the philosophy and history of yoga, she loves teaching individual private classes that can target specific needs.
In 2007 Pam expanded her studio space by creating Heights School of Yoga a yoga studio in the heart of the Heights that is supported by terrific, well trained teachers who offer a wide range of teaching styles. ALL ARE WELCOME!
