| Fernando is a hatha yoga instructor, he began practicing hatha yoga in 1993, and has been practicing meditation for more than 20 years. Part of his training has been through the teachings of swami Paramahansa yoganananda including living many months at an SRF Ashram in US and in India. He completed his first teacher training in Houston in the year 2000 and developed over the years a wide range of experience teaching from corporate classes to holistic centers, health clubs, yoga studios ,etc..., his background in Children's Theater gave him the natural ability to teach yoga for children and parents. In the beginning of the year 2007 he completed his second Yoga teacher training in India, in addition to yoga he holds a Master Degree in Reiki and a Degree in Tibetan Massage. He is also a Reiki and yoga music composer. He teaches yoga in English and in Spanish. His Training has been influenced by Iyengar yoga and Bishnu Gosh; his emphasis is to combine body alignment with synchronicity of movement as well as awareness of breath to develop contemplation and meditative state in the pose and in the practice. His classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate level. His practical knowledge of yogic scriptures often bring a deeper meaning to the yoga class.
