Class Schedule
Tuesday
Time:6:30-8:30pm
Location:5314 Queensloch Drive, Houston, TX 77096
Description:This class is for students of all levels in good physical condition. The studio is a beautiful space with hardwood floors. All props are provided, however it can be nice to have one's own mat. The small class size (6-12 people) ensures individual attention and encouragement to work at your level of training and ability. The first Tuesday of every month we practice Pranayama or breathing techniques. The first part of that class is dedicated to relaxing asanas that open the body to be alert and receptive to the breath. The second class of every month is more vigorous with a focus on a specific type of asana, that is standing poses, seated poses, backbends, inversions, twists, etc. The third class of the month is devoted to improving technique. In the fourth class we apply the principals we have been practicing. If there are five classes in a month we often practice flowing sequences such as Suryanamaskar. The group is congenial and mixes hard work with good humor. We hope you will join us.
Private classes can be arranged by appointment.
